CHILDREN'S INFORMATION
The YMCA provides programs and services for children and families. Online registrations, applications, and other submissions concerning a child under 13 must be completed by the child’s parent or legal guardian. Children under 13 may not independently create an account, register for a program, or submit personal information through the Site.
We collect information about children when it is provided by a parent or legal guardian in connection with a membership, program registration, application, payment, waiver, or other YMCA service. We use that information to administer the requested membership, program, activity, or service and for related operational, safety, communication, and recordkeeping purposes.
We do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from a child under 13 without appropriate involvement and authorization from the child’s parent or legal guardian. If we learn that a child under 13 has independently submitted personal information through the Site, we will take reasonable steps to review and delete the information, as appropriate.
A parent or legal guardian who believes that a child under 13 has independently submitted personal information through the Site may contact us using the information provided below.
WEBSITE HOSTING, COOKIES, AND EMBEDDED CONTENT
The Site is hosted through Wix. Wix and other technology providers may collect technical and usage information and use cookies or similar technologies to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site. Cookies are small files placed on a user’s device that allow a website or service to recognize the device or remember certain information.
The Site may also include embedded videos, maps, and other content provided by third parties. When you view or interact with embedded content, the third-party provider may collect technical information, place cookies, or otherwise process information about your interaction with the content. The provider’s collection and use of information are governed by its own privacy policy and terms.

HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We may use personal information for the purposes described below, depending on how you interact with the YMCA:
· To provide YMCA services. We may use information to establish and administer memberships and accounts, register individuals for programs and activities, process payments and donations, coordinate facility rentals, provide requested services, and communicate about those services.

· To provide news and promotional communications. We may use contact information to send YMCA news, program and event information, surveys, fundraising communications, membership opportunities, and other updates. Recipients may unsubscribe from promotional emails by following the instructions included in the communication.
· To operate and improve the Site and YMCA services. We may use information to operate, maintain, secure, evaluate, and improve the Site, our communications, and YMCA programs and services.

ONLINE PLATFORMS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS
We use third-party platforms and service providers to host and operate the Site, administer memberships and program registrations, process payments and donations, receive applications and supporting documents, communicate with members and other individuals, and support other YMCA operations.
Depending on the service requested, these providers may collect or maintain contact information, household and membership information, program information, transaction information, application materials, supporting documents, technical information, and other information submitted in connection with the service.
Some platforms are linked from or integrated with the Site. When you use a third-party platform, your use of that platform may also be governed by the provider’s own privacy policy and terms.
Text Messages
We use Daxko Engage to send text messages to individuals who have affirmatively enrolled in the YMCA’s text-messaging program.
Individuals enroll by texting “DSCYMCA” to 54539 and confirming their consent by replying “YES” to the follow-up message. Merely providing a telephone number in connection with a membership, registration, donation, application, inquiry, or contact form does not enroll an individual in text-message communications.
The YMCA uses text messages for facility and operational communications, which may include:
· Facility closures and delays;
· Schedule changes;
· Program reminders and cancellations;
· Safety or emergency information; and
· Similar operational updates.
The YMCA does not use this text-messaging program to promote events, programs, fundraising opportunities, or memberships.
Message frequency may vary, and message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing a membership, registering for a program, making a donation, or receiving YMCA services.
Recipients may reply STOP to stop receiving text messages or HELP for assistance.
