Healthy Kid's Day is the YMCA's national initiative to improve the health and well-being of kids and families - and we're bringing that mission to life right here in Decatur County!

Get ready for a fun-filled day of movement, learning, and family time at Healthy Kids Day! This free community event is all about helping kids and families discover the importance of exercise, movement, nutrition, and healthy habits - while having an absolute blast doing it.
Join us for an action-packed afternoon featuring games, activities, special events, and open swim, plus opportunities to connect with local vendors and community partners sharing helpful resources and kid-friendly experiences.
Throughout the building, families can participate in interactive breakout sessions featuring topics such as martial arts, nutrition, yoga, financial literacy, and more - giving kids and parents the chance to learn new skills while exploring healthy habits together.
From hands-on activities to active play, there’s something for every age and every energy level!
Easter Egg Hunt
Don't miss one of the most exciting moments of the day!
The Easter Egg Hunt kicks off at 12 PM, with designated times for each age group to ensure a fun experience for everyone:
